To work in the UK you need a valid Visa or British passport. UK Live in jobs cannot apply for a visa for you but we can point you in the right direction.

• Working Holiday Visa.If you are a Commonwealth citizen and aged between 17 and 30 you can apply for a 2-year working holiday visa. This allows you to stay in the UK for up to two years and work for up to 12 months. Employment is seen as incidental to the holiday so it is not advisable to put on your application that you have prearranged work as you're visa may be refused! You can still apply with us while your waiting for your visa approval.
• Ancestral Visa.If your Parents or Grandparents were born in the UK and you are over 17 years of age you can apply for a working visa. This allows you to stay in the UK for up to 5 years and work. You will have to supply proof of their birth certificates.

To apply for a Visa you need to contact the British High Commission in your own country. It is possible to get an application form online. Visas can take time to process so allow yourself plenty, you may end up waiting longer at busy times of the year.
